A hated palm tree full of thorns almost 12 cm long, felled and burned to make room for monoculture crops and to facilitate the entry of rubber tappers in the forest, it was known by some as "the farmer’s enemy". This used to happen with the murumuru until we discovered that the butter in the fruit contains a powerful capillary treatment for damaged hair.
Murumuru nuts contain a kernel from which a creamy and dense butter can be extracted. Murumuru butter has a high affinity with the hair fiber, repairing damaged hair strands and recovering hair’s natural elasticity.
